About Us

Welcome to Trauma & Balance Counseling Services, LLC. T&B was created to meet a need that was discovered in working with clients who had experienced Trauma. I have seen clients use self-empowered directives to help process all kinds of trauma and work on a range of goals from resolving it, managing it better, letting it go, accepting it, self forgiveness and even forgiving others for perpetrating it onto them. As a result, clients have had more peace, calm and balance in their lives. I found out that many others had the same need. After 2020, most of us experienced the collective trauma in different ways from the COVID-19 pandemic. I noticed that many were suffering from unavoidable changes in their lives and in order to meet their needs during the pandemic, and with regards to the economy at the time, virtual counseling or telehealth became a great resource for many providers and clients. Using technology for school, work, healthcare and family life has many advantages. Telehealth or online sessions have been as effective as in person sessions not only the research studies support this statement but also from our clients self report.

Some additional advantages of telehealth include less surrounding distractions, less time needed to get to and from appointments which can make it easier to find times to meet, being able to keep attendance confidential, and still being able to get together on days when leaving home may not be as easy to achieve. For many people, work, life and home balance can be stressful. They may have multiple schedules to manage for example, so having accessible care for individuals and families is where T & B is available to help bridge the gap and fill the needs for clients to have effective treatment at their fingertips. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with clients, gain their trust and be a part of their healing journey in counseling.

Services Offered

Online therapy is provided by licensed therapist who offer teen therapy, individual therapy and couple/marriage therapy. Online therapist has uniqueness life experiences which make her as a professional. Her individual abilities, skills and educational background is incorporated into working with clients during therapy. She accept out of pocket payments as well as Kancare-Medicaid, FSA and comercial health insurance. Life Coaching is available for adults seeking to enhance their skills and confidently overcome challenges and this service is only accept out of pocket payment.
